In the Garden quilt, the borders and sashing make up the entire quilt, becoming the blocks. The piano key rows, modeled after a tidy formal garden, are perfect for scraps as well as fat quarters. This also makes Garden a wonderful project to construct with a group. Instead of a block, assign each participant a row.
